I'm Stefan a phD. student at the Faculty of Computer Science, A. I. Cuza University of Iasi, researching new and exciting human-computer interaction and visual analytics techniques, in the context of a semantic web.
Since I'm a phd. student my main activities are focused on getting my ideas published and presenting them to an audience. I also work as a teaching assistant on several courses.
In my spare time I like working on DIY projects and experimenting with new and creative interaction techniques. I also work as a freelance interaction designer on various web & mobile projects.
I continuously strive to work on new, forward-looking projects and also learn captivating things.
My research interests are focused around the fields of Human–Computer Interaction, Semantic Web and Visual Analytics, but I also take interest in the fields of Affective Computing & Physical Computing.
After of a period of self-education I got my first payed job in 2007 and since then I've been working with various clients on creating pretty UIs, great UX along with meaningful interactions.
Meanwhile I finished both my B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science (2008) and M.Sc. Degree in Software Engineering (2010) at the Faculty of Computer Science, A. I. Cuza University of Iasi.
During my phD. studies I was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Visualization and Interactive Systems, University of Stuttgart.
