Things I do
Since I'm a researcher my main activities are focused on getting my
ideas published and presenting them to an audience. For the same reasons I worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Computer Science, AL. I. Cuza University of Iasi.
In my spare time I like working on
DIY projects and experimenting with new and creative interaction techniques. I also work as a freelance user experience and interaction designer on various Web & mobile projects.
I continuously strive to work on new, forward-looking projects and also learn captivating things.
My research interests are focused around the fields of
Human–Computer Interaction, Semantic Web and Visual Analytics, but I also take interest in the fields of Affective Computing, Physical Computing, Information Visualization and Visual Analytics of (Web) Linked Data and User Experience.
I got my first payed job in 2007 and since then I've been working with various clients on creating pretty UIs, great UX along with meaningful interactions.
I finished my B.Sc. Degree (2008), M.Sc. Degree (2010) in Computer Science and Ph.D. (2013) in
Knowledge Engineering in the Context of Human-Computer Interaction at the Faculty of Computer Science, AL. I. Cuza University of Iasi.
During my Ph.D. I was a visiting researcher at the
Institute for Visualization and Interactive Systems, University of Stuttgart.
